Battery Charger 3 or 4 stages charging with Equalization (must be manually initiated). An adaptive algorithm is used during Bulk to assess the condition of lead-acid batteries. Subsequent stages are then based on the condition of the battery rather than pre-set time periods for Absorption and Float. Prevents unnecessary charging, and extends the life of batteries. Programmable – set battery voltage thresholds to initiate charging. Specific programmable settings for Lithium-ion batteries. Transfer Switch Zero transfer time when switching from Inverter to Grid. When the grid comes on, the inverter synchronizes with the waveform and then transfers instantly at zero crossing. <16ms transfer when going from Grid to Inverter. When the grid is lost, the transfer relay switches to the inverter at the correct place in the waveform for no power disruption.  Surge Capacity (Power Boost) 3X surge power for high surge loads on start-up, such as compressor or refrigerator Additionally, the EVOTM has power overload allowances available for short periods of time. Overload allowances decrease with the length of time. Increased inverter capacity, or “Active Power Boost,” means you can size your inverter smaller to handle heavy surge loads, reducing costs.  State-of-the-Art Technology The EVOTM operates at 165 million instructions per second producing lightning fast load and response times The EVOTM is practically indestructible. It has “Bullet-Proof Intelligence” in the form of 9 physical points of protection monitoring being scanned up to 10,000 times per second for adverse conditions. The EVOTM will detect fault conditions and initiate a healthy shutdown before any product damage can be done. The EVO-RC-PLUS remote control (sold separately) can be used to capture detailed EVOTM performance data. Records all detected faults and the conditions leading up to them. Cable for Smart BMS CL 12-100 to MultiPlus This cable will allow the MultiPlus 500VA – 1600VA, MultiPlus Compact 800VA – 2kVA and MultiPlus-II models to be used with BMS products that have no VE.Bus interface, such as the Smart BMS CL 12-100 and the small BMS. These MultiPlus models can be controlled from the Load/Charge Disconnect outputs and Load/Charger outputs respectively. The cable must be wired to the remote on/off connector of the MultiPlus models:  When used with the MultiPlus 500VA-1200VA models connect the black wire to the ON terminal and the red wire to the (+) terminal.  When used with the MultiPlus Compact 800VA-2kVA models connect the black wire to the middle terminal and the red wire to the right (IN) terminal.  When used with the MultiPlus-II models connect the black wire to the lower (-) terminal and the red wire to the upper (+) remote on-off terminal.  Both the Load/Charge Disconnect outputs of Smart BMS CL 12-100 and Load/Charger outputs of the small BMS must be in ‘High’ state in order for the MultiPlus to operate. After shutdown due to low battery voltage, run the alternator or use a battery charger on the primary side of the BMS to reset the system.
