Returns:


At Safe Water, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary, and we strive to make the process as smooth as possible. We accept returns within thirty (30) days after shipment, providing flexibility for our customers. However, certain items are not eligible for return, including open software, mapping/chart data cards, international orders, freight truck-only items, and special order items. Please note that shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable. If your return meets our criteria, we offer various remedies, such as an exchange, merchandise credit, or refund to the original payment method. To initiate a return, customers must request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) through our website or via email. Upon approval, an RMA number will be issued along with instructions for returning the package within a reasonable time frame, typically 1-3 business days. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we're here to assist you throughout the return process.

Please note: Free return shipping will only be offered if the product is not working as directed as well as missing parts. Additional information might be required to accept a return or refund.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including open software, mapping/chart data cards, international orders, freight truck-only items, and special order items. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
