Clear 14/2 AWG Two Conductor Speaker Wire - 250'14 AWG Speaker wire is most often used in digital audio, home theaters, and even stereo speakers. It is important to take note that the 14 AWG speaker wire is not rated or intended for in-wall usage. How is it made? Speaker wire is constructed from two tinned copper conductors. To distinguish polarity, we have placed a positive (+) symbol on one of the conductors. Both conductors are covered with a translucent PVC jacket. This jacket is designed to be flexible to make installation as easy as possible. How do you use 14 AWG speaker wires? Well, the first thing to do is choose the proper gauge. This can be figured out by determining how long the wire will need to be. To leave room for error, it's a good idea always to add a few extra feet. This keeps the run from becoming too tight or too slack. After you know how long the wire needs to be, you will need to consider the power requirements. Once you know the length of your run and the power requirements, you can choose the proper gauge wire. If you would like help selecting the proper speaker wire, contact a Pacer expert today. Tinned Lug 1/0 AWG - 5/16" Stud Size - 10 PackCreating a strong connection is essential to every electrical system. By using closed-end lugs, users get not only durability but longevity as well. Pacer's closed-end lugs are tin-plated and have no exposed seams. This means that they are ideal for marine applications. What makes them ideal is the fact that they can be used to create waterproof connections. When used with epoxy heat shrink, the closed end lug will fully envelop the conductor. This leaves nothing exposed to the elements. To use, simply strip your wire or cable to the proper length. Once this is complete, slide the lug over the exposed wire, making sure the insulation butts up to the edge of the lug. Now, crimp the lug using the correct tool, and you're done. Add epoxy lined heat shrink for added durability. Pacer's closed-end lugs are available in 8 AWG to 4/0 AWG wire sizes. The available stud sizes include #10, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2". Selecting the correct closed-end lug isn't an easy task. Contact a Pacer expert today with any questions that you may have.Features:
