Class B+, a standard, utilizes SOTDMA format transmissions which offer a 5W power output (2.5x more powerful than a regular Class B), a guaranteed time slot for transmission in busy traffic areas and faster update rates depending upon the speed of the vessel. It’s ideal for ocean sailors requiring the best possible performance and future proof satellite tracking applications, fast power boats and smaller non-mandated commercial vessels. It still inter-operates with existing Class B and Class A systems. The AIT2500 is a full function SOTDMA AIS transponder with NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and USB data outputs. It is supplied with a GPS antenna and requires connection to a VHF antenna or suitable VHF-AIS antenna splitter. The AIT2500 has the option of an AIS SART alarm which is great for use with personal AIS MOB devices.Specifications:
Class B+ 5W transponder with GPS/GLONASS positioning
Multiple NMEA 0183 in/out and multiplex capability
NMEA 2000 connectivity
USB connectivity for PC/MAC
Remote TX silence switch option
Supplied with GPS antenna
Options include VHF-AIS antenna splitter, wireless interface (WLN10SM) and AIS SART Alarm (AIS Lifeguard)
Note On SOTDMA TechnologyClass B+ is a generation of AIS functionality based on SOTDMA (self organised TMDA) messaging rather than the simpler CSTDMA (carrier sense TDMA). It guarantees your AIS transmission will get a time slot, even in areas of very high traffic density. It also specifies a 5W transmission power (compared with 2W for Class B) and a transmission rate that increases as the vessel moves faster. With regular Class B protocol, the transmission rate is fixed at every 30 seconds when the vessel is moving. It is ideal for ocean sailors requiring the best possible performance and future proof satellite tracking applications, fast power boats and smaller non-mandated commercial vessels.

AISnode NMEA 2000 Boat AIS Class B ReceiverAISnode is the first AIS Receiver to be designed exclusively for NMEA 2000. With a single, integral 0.75m NMEA 2000 cable that takes power from the network and outputs the AIS data on to the network, the AISnode is incredibly easy to install. Just find or fit a spare NMEA 2000 "T Piece", screw the AISnode cable to the connection, connect a VHF antenna and the installation is complete. Utilizing the same high performance, true dual channel receiver that our latest Class B Transponders have, AISnode will receive every AIS equipped vessel within VHF range and never miss or drop a single target. All of the latest NMEA 2000 AIS message types are supported, including AIS SARTs, AtoNs and Class B static data, ensuring full compatibility with all of the latest AIS enabled chart plotters. NMEA 2000 is becoming more and more popular on new boats and nearly all new chart plotters have an NMEA 2000 interface, with one or two models only providing an NMEA 2000 interface. With its reliability, easy plug and play connectivity and industry standard compatibility, it is not surprising why NMEA 2000 is gradually replacing the older NMEA0183 standard. The AIT2000 and AIT3000 Class B Transponders already provide NMEA 2000 connectivity but not all customers want the extra expense of purchasing and installing a transponder and for small chart plotters an AIS receiver is still a popular choice.Features:

iAISTX Plus Class B Wireless & NMEA 2000 Transponder**As the FCC requires all units sold in the US to be programmed by a qualified technician. Please submit the form below for programming at time of purchase. A copy of the MMSI Registration or FCC Ship Station License is required along with the vessel master or owner's signature on the completed programming form. **Click here to download form.iAISTX Plus has been designed specifically for the growing number of boaters who use an iPad or Android tablet for their navigation tasks. As a full function Class B transponder, it sends your boat position and identity data to other AIS equipped vessels as well as providing a wireless interface for mobile devices with popular apps to display received data from other AIS equipped vessels. This PLUS model also has a NMEA 2000 interface (with integral drop cable) so that it can integrate with modern plotters, instruments and multi-function displays to provide AIS functionality.iAISTX Plus creates a secure, password protected, local Wi-Fi network which allows AIS and GPS data to be sent to popular iOS and Android apps such as Navionics, iSailor, Weather4D, SailGrib, iNavX, TimeZero and more. These apps offer a detailed overlay of local AIS targets all updated in real-time. Depending upon the app, you can click on a target and can see identity as well as collision avoidance data such as CPA (closest point of approach) and TCPA (time to closest point of approach).AIS transponders require one time programming with the boat’s identity and physical dimensions and this is done through a simple, embedded web interface via the tablet’s browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.). This can also be used to silence the transmission and set up wireless parameters such as passwords. Installation is simple – just connect power (12/24v), mount the supplied external GPS antenna and connect to a separate dedicated VHF antenna or to the boat’s existing VHF antenna using our SPL1500 or SPL2000 AIS-VHF antenna splitters.Features:
Class B AIS transponder with a wireless interface for phones, tablets, iPads and PCs
NMEA 2000 interface for plotter and multi function display AIS compatability
Support for all the latest target types such as ATONs and AIS MOB devices
Latest HF AIS technology for superior performance
UDP and TCP/IP protocols supported for up to 7 connected devices
Password protected, secure wireless connection
Internal wifi antenna will typically footprint a boat up to 60ft in length
Supplied with external GPS antenna and 10m (33ft) cable which can be deck mounted or fitted to standard 1” mount
Compatible with 100s apps. See our reviews at www.digitalyacht.net
LED status indicators for wireless connection, data, status, time out, power and silent mode
Easy embedded web interface for programming
Measures just 20 x 14 x 4.5cm

MA-510TR AIS Transponder with Antenna & 4.3" DisplayThis Class B AIS Transponder with GPS navigation function and NMEA 2000™ actively notifies other vessels of your exact position and as a Dual channel receiver, provides AIS information (both Class A and Class B signals) of other AIS-equipped vessels simultaneously. Large 4.3" color TFT LCD, the backlit screen gives real-time vessel traffic information for navigation and collision avoidance. The compact size means that it can be installed in a convenient place.Key collision-risk management functions simplify AIS operation and a collision alarm with an external alarm connection gives extra warning of potential impacts. Leisure, fishing, or cruising vessels can stay safe and informed on the open sea with this feature-packed transponder. Features:
Large color display - 4.3"
Individual DSC (Digital Select Call) calling with a compatible VHF radio
USB connectivity
Multi-lingual user interface (English, French, Indonesian, Spanish, and Vietnamese)
Built-in GPS Navigation function guides users to waypoints or AIS targets
Silent mode allows the radio to operate securely and privately with the silent mode function. Switch off the AIS transmitter to temporarily stop sending out position location. Other AIS signal reports art still received when silent mode is on. Keep fishing spots private from other vessels by utilizing silent mode.
Collision Alarm Function - When vessels come into the CPA or TCPA range, the vessel's icon blinks and a warning sound is emitted on the plotter display (when connected to external audio equipment).
Anchor Watch Alarm - an alarm is set off when the vessel is drifting when anchored.
Man Overboard - when users receive a Man Overboard (MOB) signal, the MA-510TR can set the MOB as a destination.
NMEA Connectivity - The MA-510TR can connect to both NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183
End-user programmable with MMSI and ship information.
